Portrait of Charlot DEDJINOU
Software EngineerAbomey-Calavi · Benin

01About

Curiosity led me across the whole product.

I’m Charlot Joël DEDJINOU, a software engineer based in Benin. I started with web development, then followed the needs of the products I was building into mobile, cloud infrastructure, identity, computer vision and connected systems.

This breadth is not a collection of tools. It helps me understand a system as a whole, make sound technical choices and carry an idea through to a working product.

02Career

Responsibility grew with the systems I built.

My path has expanded through products with increasingly broad technical and operational needs. Each role added a new layer: interface quality, mobile delivery, backend architecture, connected systems, infrastructure, identity and security.

04Capabilities

I work across the layers a product needs.

01 · Product systems

Product and full-stack engineering

I turn product requirements into coherent interfaces, APIs and data flows, with attention to maintainability and the complete user journey.

Evidence · Pulse

A multi-role platform connecting engagement, rewards, wallet activity and operational oversight.Read the case study

02 · Mobile systems

Mobile and offline experiences

I build mobile workflows that remain clear and dependable when connectivity, synchronisation and device constraints become part of the problem.

Evidence · Offline assessment app

On-device speech and handwriting recognition designed to keep assessment workflows usable without a network.See the career context

03 · Intelligent systems

AI, computer vision and AIoT

I connect sensing, inference, embedded control and user-facing applications to create systems that can observe and act on the physical world.

Evidence · Smart Parking AIoT System

Reservation, secure access, computer-vision space detection and live supervision in one connected system.Read the case study

04 · Trusted systems

Identity, security and infrastructure

I design authentication, access control and deployment foundations, and study web exploitation to understand how systems fail beyond the prototype stage.

Evidence · OOBMap
